Terms and conditions
Last updated 12 October 2026
Draft for checking before the site goes live (and by a solicitor if you can). The parts in dashed boxes need the owner's details or decision.
The short version
- You book a home visit; we confirm the day, time and price.
- New patients start with an initial home visit (£120). Report of findings (£100) and treatment visits (£85) are for existing patients.
- You can cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund for visits that haven't happened. After that, please give 48 hours' notice, or the full fee is charged. Moving a visit is free.
- Ismail checks you over and asks for your consent before any treatment, and you can stop at any time.
- We're not an emergency service: in an emergency call 999, for urgent advice call NHS 111.
The full terms are below.
1. About us
AKH Chiropractic & Wellness is a trading name of ISHY & ASSOCIATES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17180552 ("we", "us"). Your care is provided by our director, Ismail Hassan, a chiropractor registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), registration number 06577. Chiropractors in the UK are regulated by the GCC and must follow its Code of Professional Practice. You can check registration on the GCC register.

2. Booking
You can book online through our booking page, by phone, or with the automated receptionist on our phone line and website. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm the day, time, visit type and price to you. The automated receptionist is an AI assistant: it books only times shown as free in our diary, and it can't give medical advice.
3. Home visits
- We visit homes within 10 miles of S3, Sheffield. Further out, a travel fee of £10 to £20 applies, depending on distance. Ismail confirms the exact travel fee with you before your visit.
- Please have a clear space about 2 metres by 1 metre for the treatment bench, with room to move around, and somewhere for Ismail to park nearby.
- Patients under 18: a parent or guardian must give consent and be present for the whole visit.
- Ismail may decline a visit if it isn't safe to go ahead, for example if there isn't enough space or he feels unsafe. If he declines before starting your assessment, there's no charge. If he carries out your assessment and tests but decides treatment isn't right for you, the visit fee still applies, because the assessment has been done. He'll explain why and, if needed, where to go next.
4. Your care
Your first visit includes an assessment. Ismail explains what he finds, what he recommends and any risks, and asks for your consent before treating you. You can ask questions, decline or stop treatment at any time. Chiropractic care isn't suitable for everyone, and results vary, so we can't promise a particular outcome.
We are not an emergency service. If you have loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness around the groin, weakness in both legs, chest pain, or a sudden severe headache, call 999. For urgent advice, call NHS 111.
5. Prices and payment
- Initial home visit (45 to 60 minutes): £120. Report of findings (30 to 40 minutes): £100. Treatment visit (15 to 30 minutes): £85. Plus the travel fee above if it applies. These are the total prices.
- New patients start with an initial home visit. Report of findings and treatment visits are for existing patients.
- The initial home visit is paid before the visit, by a secure Stripe payment link we send you.
- Other visits can be paid by bank transfer, Stripe link or cash.
6. Cancelling and changing a visit
You can move a visit without a fee. Your legal right to cancel within 14 days, our notice period, and refunds are set out in Cancellations and refunds.
7. If we need to cancel
If we have to cancel or can't get to you, we'll tell you as soon as we can and offer another time or a full refund of anything you've paid for that visit.
8. Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. These terms don't affect your legal rights.
9. Complaints
If you're unhappy with anything, please tell us first by phone or email so we can put it right; we aim to reply within 7 days. If you're still unhappy about Ismail's conduct or care, you can raise a concern with the General Chiropractic Council.
10. This website
The information on this website is general information about our services, not medical advice. The photos showing a home visit were created with AI to illustrate how a visit works.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
